Terms of use

All prices are in Macedonian denars and include VAT. Delivery costs are shown in the basket before you order. The price that applies is the one shown when you place the order.

Stock moves. If a book sells in the meantime we'll tell you and offer a swap, a wait, or a cancellation.

We try to keep everything accurate, but a wrong price or description is possible. If that happens we cancel the order and explain why, before charging anything.

Pressing "Order with obligation to pay" sends a binding order. The contract exists once we confirm your order by email; that email, with these terms, is your record of it.

We may cancel an order if the contact details are obviously wrong, or if the courier can't reach you after two attempts.

Until the parcel leaves us, an order can be changed or cancelled at no cost. Write to kontakt@stonebridge.mk and we'll confirm it in writing.

As a consumer you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the book, without giving a reason.

To withdraw, send us a clear statement before the deadline, by email to kontakt@stonebridge.mk or by post to the address above. You may use the form below, but you don't have to. Then return the book within 14 days of telling us.

We refund what you paid, including standard delivery, within 14 days of receiving your statement, but we may wait until the book is back with us or you show that you have sent it. Cash-on-delivery payments are refunded to a bank account you give us. You pay the direct cost of sending the book back. We may deduct any loss in value caused by handling the book beyond what was needed to inspect it.

We are responsible for any lack of conformity of a book that becomes apparent within two years of delivery, as the law provides.

If a book arrives damaged, is not what you ordered or has a defect, write to kontakt@stonebridge.mk with your order number, a short description and, if you can, a photograph. You may choose repair or replacement, or, where that is not possible, a price reduction or a refund, as the law provides.

We confirm every complaint on receipt and answer it within 8 days. These terms do not limit any of your statutory rights.

We try to settle every disagreement directly and quickly. You may also contact the State Market Inspectorate or a consumer protection organisation. Disputes are decided by the competent court in Skopje, without prejudice to the rules that protect you as a consumer.

We answer for the book we sell you and for our own mistakes in getting it to you. We aren't liable for internet outages, banking systems or courier services outside our control.
